Savanna has an opportunity for an experienced Human Resources Advisor to join the team. Based in or Brisbane or Toowoomba Office Locations. This is a newly created position to support our growing business.

What you'll be doing:
- Reporting the Human Resources Manager, you will be working a small team to provide a well-rounded Human Resources service to the business.
- Coaching managers on best practice, performance management, conversations and investigations.
- End-to-end recruitment activities such as preparing job descriptions, advertising roles, conducting interviews, background checking, employment offers and on boarding.
- Providing advice and assistance on Human Resources policies and procedures
- Oversee system data entry processes, maintenance and updating of the HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) including ConnX.
To apply, you should have:
- 3-5 years relevant experience in Human Resources. Business or HR related tertiary qualifications. Highly regarded.
- Sound experience providing generalist HR advice and support to Supervisor's and Managers
- Experience in the use of an HRIS (e.g ConnX). Previous ConnX experience highly regarded.
- Practical current knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks (eg. the Fair Work Act), Awards etc.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to engage people at all levels of an organisation and build strong working relationships
- Excellent organisational, time management & prioritisation skills
